About Tarot Nola
Tarot Nola grew up in south Louisiana and knew his granny to have the gift of knowing. He learned old traditions and continued to study and train to develop his own knowing as a reader.
Tarot Nola started out doing readings with poker cards and a bundle of divining sticks. After his granny passed away, he studied Tarot in New Orleans with a mid-wife who became his mentor for many years. She trained him to use his gifts with compassion and integrity. Tarot Nola went on to develop his abilities as a clairvoyant and continues with a great love for Tarot cards as they have been an integral part of his own life journey.
Tarot Nola began doing Tarot readings in Jackson Square in the 90's, in front of St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. Tarot Nola is grateful for those days in the Square and for being part of a long tradition of artists, musicians and Tarot card readers setting up in the Square for locals and tourists alike.
He was later hired as one of the staff readers at a reading room in the French Quarter. He spent many years working in such shops in the French Quarter, honing his skills and developing a loyal clientele.
Readings are now provided almost entirely over social media live streaming, by phone, and via webcam apps (Zoom and Skype). Sessions begin with connecting with clients the same way he would with clients when meeting face-to-face. He Tarot or LeNormand cards to facilitate reading consults.
Tarot Nola has enjoyed numerous careers. He has worked in cafes, theatres, managed operations for an Italian design house, spent time with a Tibetan monastery, as well as tended to hospice patients as a nurse. He has spent more years in university than any one person probably should. Through it all, his calling as an intuitive reader has continued to come back to center stage again and again. It is his goal as a professional to be of benefit to others with integrity and with a voice of hope and empowerment.
